Purpose

The manager role supervises the operational work of its own perimeter: people, approvals, timesheets and project progress.

Who should read this

  • team leaders
  • project leads or operational supervisors

Required permissions

This role can typically access:

  • Dashboard
  • Approval Center
  • projects and tasks within its perimeter
  • timesheets and attendance/work location for the managed team
  • authorised operational reports

What this role can do

  1. approve or reject requests and workflows for its team
  2. verify timesheets and operational progress
  3. consult reports consistent with its perimeter
  4. collaborate with HR and tenant admin on people and project processes

What this role cannot do

  • manage global SaaS configurations
  • govern platform roles
  • access data outside its tenant

Main workflows

  1. open the dashboard and verify the active area
  2. enter Approval Center
  3. filter activities to approve
  4. validate or reject with a reason when required
  5. monitor projects and team hour data

Common errors

  • Item cannot be approved
  • cause: the item has already been handled or permission is insufficient
  • solution: refresh the page and verify the real status
  • Report not available
  • cause: the module is limited to read-only or the manager lacks export permission
  • solution: use the authorised view or ask the tenant admin for support
  • No collaborators visible in the flow
  • cause: organisational perimeter or project assignments are inconsistent
  • solution: verify the team structure with HR/tenant admin
